Let Romance Español sweep you away with the passionate music of Spain, Latin America, and the rich melodies inspired by those cultures.

Join us this Valentine’s weekend as today’s top young operatic talent takes you on a tour of some of the most world’s romantic music.  This passion-filled concert celebrates the beauty of opera and musical theatre’s most beloved tunes, from Carmen to Man of La Mancha and all point in between.

Since its founding in 2008, our Studio Artist Program has brought this country’s brightest young opera singers to Milwaukee, where they work in residence with us throughout the season. Recent alumni now perform regularly across the country and in Europe. Romance Español is our annual showcase concert for this year’s talented group.

NOTE: The Florentine Opera Studio Artists recently appeared at the National Opera Center in New York City with selections from the Florentine Opera recording anthology.
