It seems like Semele was just yesterday, but alas, it is fading in the rearview mirror, and The Magic Flute is staring at us straight ahead! This is again a very exciting project since the show is being designed by our own Noele Stollmack, and we have a very talented costume designer, Christianne Myers of Ann Arbor, MI, designing the costumes. As stage director for the show, I am thrilled that our audiences and our cast will be experiencing this concept for the very first time.
Speaking of cast, I really encourage you to check out the cast list and their bios on the website—The Magic Flute will truly feature an extraordinary group of young singers who will bring this comedic yet profound work to life. I look forward to sharing more with you as opening night approaches, and throughout the rehearsal process itself! The energy that our audience gave us for Semele is something that will carry us into The Magic Flute – stay tuned!
