We are very pleased to announce the imminent opening of the Wayne and Kristine Lueders Florentine Opera Center in Milwaukee’s vibrant Riverwest neighborhood. The center will not only help support our commitment to building and designing our own productions, it will also support our new Studio Artist program, and increase flexibility in rehearsing for our mainstage and education programs.
I am also excited that symbolically and substantively, the center both demonstrates and helps foster our commitment to our community. We look forward to making the space available at reasonable rental rates to other local arts groups as well.
Stay tuned – we will soon have many more exciting details and announcements about the brand new Center, which we’ll post right here.
As we begin our 76th season, I couldn’t be happier about how the Florentine is kicking off our next seventy five years!
