The Florentine Opera's Voice Factory provides professional development opportunities for young artists in the community
We invite you to join us for the first Voice Factory of our 2012-2013 Season!
The Florentine Voice Factory is designed to meet the needs of professional singers interested in coachings and workshop activities.
Bring an aria and just 10 bucks! Members of the Florentine Opera Chorus and any interested community performers are encouraged to attend. This evening of casual coaching will include musical and dramatic components facilitated by the Florentine's General Director Bill Florescu and Chorus Master/Associate Conductor Scott Stewart.
DETAILS
- WHO: YOU, if you would like to be coached on an aria for 15-20 minutes, the cost is just $10 to cover the accompanist fee. All performers must be at least 18 years old – please check out the High School Master Class program if you are under 18 and would like to sing at the Florentine! Everyone is welcome to watch the coaching sessions at no charge!
- WHAT: The Voice Factory is an opportunity to bring an aria from your current repertoire for coaching and feedback. The program provides a casual & supportive atmosphere, and a great opportunity to continue to work your craft.

The Florentine Voice Factory provides a positive, comfortable atmosphere for professional development for singers (18 and older). We'd like to: help you prepare your performance and audition pieces; provide a forum to spend time with your colleagues; allow you to watch the open coachings; and provide a venue for networking with other artists in the community.
