California native, Erin Gonzalez has performed with the Martina Arroyo Foundation, Opera Las Vegas, Nevada Opera Theatre, Eastman Opera Theatre, and Opera Chapman. Role highlights include Dorabella in Così Fan Tutte, Orfeo in Orfeo ed Euridice, Hansel in Hansel and Gretel, Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, La Infermiera in Suor Angelica, Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi, Nancy in Albert Herring and Third Spirit in Die Zauberflöte. Erin has been featured with the Finger Lakes Choral Festival as the mezzo soloist for Bach’s St. Matthew Passion and covered the role of Tisbe in Rossini’s La Cenerentolawith the American Landmark Festivals. She received a Bachelor of Music from Chapman University Conservatory of Music and Master of Music from Eastman School of Music, both in Vocal Performance and Literature. She is a winner of the Friends of Eastman Opera Voice Competition, Opera 100 Scholarship Competition, Chapman Concerto Competition, and recipient of the Bramledge Opera Award and Robert Kuntz Scholarship for outstanding opera achievement. Ms. Gonzalez spent the summer of 2013 with the Los Angeles-based OperaWorks as an Advanced Artist.
