The Florentine Opera Company will hold its annual High School Masterclass on Sunday, March 27 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Florentine Opera Center.

Florentine Opera Company General Director William Florescu announces the 2011-2012 season: Puccini’s beloved "Turandot," Carlisle Floyd’s compelling "Susannnah," and Mozart’s epic "Idomeneo". The Florentine will also expand subscription packages to include a forth offering, a concert performance featuring the Studio Artists.

The Florentine Opera Company once again presents a touring education program designed to introduce students in K4 through fifth grade to the opera art form during Jan-April, 2011.

Single tickets for the remaining two productions in the Florentine Opera’s 2010-2011 season of classic opera are now available for purchase

The Florentine Opera presents the 2010-2011 Studio Artists in a one-afternoon-only concert of operetta favorites, Sun., Nov. 14 at 2:30 pm in Vogel Hall.

The Florentine joins almost 100 other companies nationwide in participating in "National Opera Week," organized by OPERA America.

s Board President Clay Nesler announced at the annual meeting Sept. 24 that the Florentine remains in solid standing at the conclusion of the 2009-2010 fiscal year.

Audiences can enjoy a sneak peek at an entire seasons’ worth of opera on Sunday, September 19 at 2:00 pm at the Florentine's 10-11 Season Sampler. The ticketed event will be held at the Wayne & Kristine Lueders Florentine Opera Center in Riverwest.
