Florentine Opera recording garners three classical music nominations for the February 2012 awards

The Florentine Opera continues its 2011-2012 season performances with an in-studio, workshop production of beloved operatic classics. The Scene Showcase will be performed at 7PM on November 17, 2011, at the Florentine Opera Center in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood.

The Florentine Opera opens its 2011-2012 season with one of opera’s most beloved classics: Giacomo Puccini’s Turandot, performed November 4 and 6, 2011, at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Milwaukee.

The Florentine Opera Company names Alisa Suzanne Jordheim (soprano), Kristen DiNinno (mezzo soprano), Kevin Newell (tenor) and Carl Frank (baritone) as resident artists for the 2012-21013 season’s Studio Program.

The Florentine Opera Company names mezzo soprano Patricia Risley as the recipient of the Marie Z. Uihlein Artist Fund sponsorship for the 2010-2011 season.
