Class will be held Friday, February 11 at 7:00 pm in the Lueders Opera Center
Milwaukee, Wis--February 4, 2011--The Florentine Opera Company welcomes
tenor Frank Kelley to Milwaukee on Friday, February 11, when he will facilitate
a Masterclass for the four 2010-2011 Florentine Opera Studio Artists at the
Lueders Florentine Opera Center at 926 E. Burleigh in Riverwest. Florentine
audiences have recently seen Mr. Kelley performing in mainstage productions,
including as Spoletta in Tosca (2009) and
as Eddie Fislinger in the Midwest premiere of Elmer Gantry (2010).
The Studio Artists, accompanied by Yasuko Oura, will perform songs from their personal
repertoire and receive in-depth coaching from Mr. Kelley, at a fascinating public
masterclass. The event is free and
open to the public, but space is limited. Those planning to attend should email Lisa Hanson with their name and the number of their party to ensure that space is reserved.
