The Kate & Don Wilson Casa di Opera opens
RIVERWEST, MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin— June 18, 2013 – The Kate & Don Wilson Casa di Opera is the third leg of the Florentine's journey into the artist community of Riverwest in Milwaukee. The company's recent growth and this conglomeration of a full service production headquarters, a bright and clean open-concept administrative addition to the facility, and lastly, a fully appointed residence for it's four (4) new artists. Donors Kate and Don Wilson along with Cathy and Mario Costantini rehabilitated and re-roofed the now polished gem that resides less than a block from the front door of the thriving Florentine Opera Center. For these singers work is now but a short stroll away. Today, our artists are living into their new home in Riverwest (see photo Attached).
