FLORENTINE OPERA’S ONLINE INSIGHTS OFFER PATRONS EVERYTHING
FROM MUSIC TO COOKING
MILWAUKEE, WI . . . . The Florentine Opera premieres more than fabulous stage productions this season with the unveiling of an exciting new initiative, Online Insights. This online e-guide is a collection of resources, articles and tips designed to help opera-goers experience beloved classic operas in new ways. Beginning with Fidelio, the Florentine will offer Online Insights for each of the three operas presented this season.
Recognizing that audience members come from all walks of life, this interactive guide was created for everyone to enjoy, including busy patrons, students, and experienced opera-goers as well as first time opera attendees. Visitors can tailor their use of the guide by selecting a link based on how much time they have to explore the resources, with options ranging from five minutes to over an hour. Whether visitors wish to see a general overview of Fidelio, read tips to help them more fully enjoy their trip to the opera, learn interesting facts about Beethoven and his struggles as he composed the opera or sample recipes from Beethoven’s Vienna, Online Insights has something for everyone.
Subscribers to the Florentine Opera’s E-Newsletter have been sent links to Online Insights by email. In addition, the guide can be accessed through the Florentine Opera’s Website by clicking here. Visitors can also find ticket information for the Florentine Opera’s production of Fidelio at the website, and will save the $5 handling fee is they order tickets online. Fidelio will be performed Friday, November 11 at 7:30, Sunday, November 13 at 2:30 and Tuesday, November 15 at 7:30 at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts.
