Direct from IRA
An increasingly popular option allows individuals who are at least 72 ½ years old to donate up to $100,000 annually to charitable organizations, directly from their IRA, without treating the distribution as taxable income.
To qualify, the gift must come directly from your IRA administrator.
Simply ask your plan administrator to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution to The Florentine Opera, and they will send a check to us on your behalf. If your administrator needs our tax-exempt information, the Florentine Opera is a 501c3 Charitable Organization, and our EIN is 39-1098132.
