2027 Hansel & Gretel for Schools

Overview

Hansel and Gretel are sent to gather berries, but their adventure in the woods soon tests their wits and their bond as siblings. With both helpful and scary neighbors, they must work together to make it home. Does a gingerbread house in the woods ever have a happy ending?

This playful take on Humperdinck’s gorgeous opera will weave a suspenseful and hilarious opera experience for students and families.

Sung in English.

The program runs 40 minutes, followed by a 10 minute Q&A.

Recommended for grades PreK-5th
